About Michael
Seeking therapy is a courageous step, and finding the right therapist is an important part of that journey. My goal is to provide a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported while we work together toward meaningful and lasting change.
I specialize in helping adults navigate the effects of trauma, anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and difficult life experiences. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or weighed down by experiences from the past, therapy can help you better understand what you’re going through and develop the tools to move forward with greater confidence and resilience.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. I believe that every person’s story is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. Together, we’ll work to understand the patterns that have shaped your life, strengthen your existing resources, and process experiences that may still be affecting your present.
As an EMDR-trained therapist, I incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) alongside other evidence-based approaches to help clients process difficult memories, reduce emotional distress, and build healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges. My work is also informed by attachment theory, recognizing that our earliest relationships often shape how we experience ourselves and others throughout life.
Above all, I believe that healing is not simply about reducing symptoms—it’s about helping people reclaim a sense of strength, purpose, and connection. My goal is to help you move beyond surviving toward living with greater confidence, resilience, and emotional freedom.
Whether you’re facing a recent challenge or carrying burdens that have been with you for years, you don’t have to navigate them alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you work toward the life you want to build.
